Exploring Fractions
Introduce fractional concepts with five units covering the basics through fraction and mixed number operations. Each lesson includes three sections: "Let's Explore!" is a teacher-guided, hands-on exploration; "Let's Exercise!" provides independent practice; and "Show Your Expertise!" gives students an opportunity to apply what they've learned. This section also works well as an assessment. Notes, suggestions, and a standards matrix are also included. 96 pages.
